Led by Durham University, the VPP-WARD multi-disciplinary consortium include University of Edinburgh, University of Birmingham, Northumbria University, and 11 industrial partners that includes Siemens, Northern Power Grid, National Grid Gas Transmission, Northumbrian Water, Durham County Council, DNV Energy Systems, Kinewell Energy, TNEI, CFMS, Equinor and Mithrasol.
